About Us

      Astoria Pastry Shop was established by the Teftsis family in 1971 in the Greektown district of downtown Detroit, Michigan.  Astoria Pastry Shop has received many awards over the years and is widely considered the preeminent bakery in the metropolitan Detroit area. 

      Astoria Pastry Shop takes great pride and maintains the highest of standards to transform our passion for sweet confections into over 100 fine pastries for your enjoyment.  Pastries can be savored inside our store with specialty gourmet coffees roasted just for our customers or packaged for home or your special occasion.

      You may preview our products by photo and place a fax order with us.  Faxed orders will be confirmed by telephone and credit card payment information will be taken only at that time.  Orders can be picked up at either the Greektown or Royal Oak location.
